IN QUEST OF LOVE!...  

Every living human being is born to love.

So, what is love? ...

Why love is born? ...

Why it sometimes grows and why it sometimes dies? ...

Everybody wants to be seen, understood, appreciated; in one word, wants to be love. This is a need not only a wish. This is why all human are looking for meaningful relationships. And at the center of every worthwhile relationship is the quest of love.

• Very intense feeling, attachment of tenderness and physical attraction between two persons. ...

• Devotion toward a Divinity, an ideal, another person ... Love of GOD, truth, our fellow men, etc ...

• Deep feeling ... Passion ... driving to obsession ...

• Making love ... with your own partner or a lover ...

This is briefly the description given by the dictionary. But the dictionary is not human. It does not describe the contradictory emotions involved in love.

On one side, the Positive Emotions where love grows like a beautiful flower opening its petals on a sunny day:

  BIRTH OF LOVE IS :  

• Love and burning passion that envelop all our heart and soul.

• Desire to love and be loved.

• Soul spiritual elevation toward a superior ideal, a divinity.

• Heart beats resonating so intensively that it almost hurts.

• Breath away by a kiss given and received in return.

• Self denial without expecting anything.

• Unlimited generosity, ignoring his own needs.

• Share of life, search of a unique goal toward ultimate achievement.

• Love pain caused by its absence.

• Long lasting wait for the beloved.

• Deep desire to be physically and emotionally part of the beloved.

• Complete gift of love without reserve of our identity.

• Gift of his own life to save a beloved one.

• Perfect union of two complimentary persons.

• Great emptiness left by the beloved departure to his eternal home.

On the other side, the Negative Emotions where love dies with his feelings of emptiness and confusions:

  DEATH OF LOVE IS :  

• Morbid jealousy to believe or to see the beloved with another partner.

• Anger that hurts so much both persons in conflict and sometimes the family circle.

• Rage of being betrayed by the beloved, and losing dreams and hopes.

• Hate following the beloved departure and heart ache.

• Lack of understanding of the beloved behaviour and feelings.

• Hurtful words expressing his own pain.

• Great heart pain believed to be forever.

• Suffering from being alone, abandoned and forgotten.

• Possible wish of the death of the beloved or his own.

All these feelings and much more are not described in the dictionary. Nevertheless, everyone may, one day or the other, lives these emotions. And even if you try to hide or forget these heart emotions, they will come back soon or later . . .

If you refuse to accept, you will become a human with a dry heart, an empty soul, without any happiness, a clock marking out the hours mechanically, without any joy.

To stay alive, love has to be revived every day, for yourself, for others and for life itself. Because you cannot love others if you do not love yourself. And if you do not love yourself, how can you expect to be loved? ...

  CONCLUSION :  

• Love is a free gift.

• Love nourishes your soul.

• Love is magic and you become a magician.

• Love is energy and it gives you wings.

• Love asks nothing in return and it goes forever.

• Love is patient, romantic, kind and peaceful.

• Love is the essence of what God is because it is GOD.

• Love is without condition.

• Love has no price.

• Love is everything and this is the truth of your being on earth.

• Love is a passionate, spiritual, emotional, sexual attachment between two persons and it reflects a high regard for the value of each other.

So, if you find it, keep it as the most wonderful and precious gift you received from God. It will guide you until the end of your life.

This is your Quest and you can find it because now you know that:

  "BY GOD YOU ARE LOVE!"
